Description

X-BERT is a low-cost, modular Bit Error Rate Test Platform used for verification and test of 8 Gb/s up to 11.3Gb/s optical and electrical components used for SONET, SDH, Ethernet, and Fibre channel communication applications. X-BERT ParallexTM allows users to perform several BER tests at once using a single clock source thus reducing cost per test port. The system is ideal for developers desiring to run simultaneous BER tests on parallel interfaces or multiple independent interfaces. X-BERT is scalable so users can start off with a single channel and add modules to grow the system. Pre-Emphasis and Duo-Binary Encoding options are also available. An easy to use UI allows for control from anywhere in the lab or Manufacturing floor via GPIB interface. Custom reports are a breeze for presenting test results.
